HSBC getting iPhone

iPhone may be getting their biggest enterprise customer soon!

In a recent interview, HSBC’s Australia and New Zealand chief information officer Brenton Hush said: “We are actually reviewing iPhones from a HSBC Group perspective … and when I say that, I mean globally”

If HSBC really switch to iPhone, it would be BlackBerry’s biggest lost in enterprise customer market; HSBC may dump 200,000 BlackBerry mobile phones and getting 200,000 iPhones…. If this deal comes true, it may start a new wave of “switch BlackBerry to iPhone” act… Could be the worst nightmare for “Research in Motion”.

HSBC’s annual technology budget is US$6 billion and their standard issue handset is currently BlackBerry.
